I was trying to delete all the blobs in a container, by selecting all the blobs and pressing delete. I had over 5000 blobs, and deleting them took at least half an hour before I killed the Azure Storage Explorer to start over. Looks like it only deleted
2000 blobs in that half hour or so.
While this was happening, the Azure Storage Explorer process basically pegged 2 CPU's. I suspect it was doing a ton of UI updates for each item, individually. Maybe those can be batched up somehow?
Meanwhile, the Azure Portal will let me delete an entire container within a few seconds. Perhaps there's a better way to delete all files?
Overall I like the tool. Good work.
